It sounds like a soap opera, but then again the Lakers have been a constant soap opera for the past 6 years so why should anything be different now. But then again, the reuniting of Kobe and Phil could work. One of the main arguments that they had was that Phil wanted to run the Offense through Shaq. But being that that whining malcontent has his "I can't seem to get Kobe's name out of my mouth" ass in Miami, that is no longer a problem. Can Phil take my Lakers back to the promiseland? I guess I have to wait and see.

That's some weird shit, I didn't hear about that.
I don't think Kobe will want to play for Phil. I'm not a Kobe fan, or even a Laker fan for that matter but I had no respect for Phil after that book.
Yeesh.
I DID enjoy your blog......until this. You're a LAKERS fan??!!?? And a Kobe fan??!! *pulling you close and whispering Look, just delete those few sentences that admit your guilt and we can act like this never happened...I got yo back!! We can deny, deny, deny! Nobody has to know..you still have time!!..*
But for real, if Big Phil comes back, I sense a Sprewell situation, except this time it may be the coach choking the player. Good luck to 'em all...
I'm a Lakers fan, too, but I can't understand how they could or why they would bring back Phil. They didn't win a title last season with him and Kobe and Shaq, why the hell would anyone think he could turn the team around without Shaq. I think he might be using this as a ploy to get a better offer somewhere else.
Plus, who wants a constant reminder of what might have been. Can we trade Kobe and Odom to Miami for Wade and Shaq? Probably not ... why on earth would the Heat want Kobe?
I think bring Phil back would add even more drama to the Lakers. I'm not a Lakers or Kobe fan but I don't think that Phil Jackson is good for that team anymore.
