Actually, no...

Jaz was one of the speed rappers of the time. This video was shot in 90...

Das-EFX hadn't hit the scene yet...so, it's the other way around...

Why does everyone claim that no matter what he does, he's biting someone's style?

This came out way before Das-EFX hit the studio, and this was way before he decided to go gangster.
