Just by watching this video, it reminds me of how hip hop has become so generic. I mean, you don't even hear cats scratch anymore.
Bahamadia was one of those chicks that made it cool for us girls that actually wanted and got in on the rhyme cipher.
You remember those, when cats would stand on the corner in a circle, one with a box and the others rocked their own flows...
Damn, how I miss hip hop....
Say word! I still keep this, I confess, and Wordplay in rotation on the ipod.
